Oscar winner in 2017 for La La Land, Damien Chazelle and Ryan Gosling meet again for a very different kind of film. Far from a fantasy musical, First Man relate Apollo 11’s epic, the most famous space mission that led the first man to walk on the moon. A biopic about Neil Armstrong then, with strong and explosive images that intend to maintain the tension.
The trailer provides an overview of the obstacles and fears that have been overcome in order to complete this expedition, described as “the most dangerous in history”. Along with Ryan Gosling, Claire Foy (The Crown), plays Janet Shearon, the astronaut’s first wife and Kyle Chandler (Early Edition, Super 8, The Wolf of Wall Street…) Deke Slayton, member of the ” Original Seven “.
