From June 12th to 19th

The 7th edition of the Champs-Élysées Film Festival dedicated to French and American independent cinema will run from June 12th to 19th in Paris.

Planned : 6 french feature films and 6 american feature films are competing for the Public Prize and the Jury Prize, headed by Serge Bozon. Whereas the director Katell Quillévéré (Suzanne, Réparer les vivants…) will chair the short films’s jury (19 french and american movies). Presented at Cannes in 2017, How to Talk to Girls at Parties by John Cameron Mitchell with Elle Fanning, Alex Sharp and Nicole Kidman will open the festivities. Followed by Unsane the new Steven Soderbergh shot with an iPhone and by Come as you are from the young american director Desiree Akhavan (Appropriate Behavior) with Chloë Grace Moretz. The festival will offer a retrospective of Tim Roth’s movies which will host a masterclass at the Publicis Cinémas on June 15th. Damsel by David and Nathan Zellner with Robert Pattison and Mia Wasikowska will close the festival. All in all, 80 cinema sessions spread across all the theaters of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
