After a nomination in the Academy in 2011 for “Madagascar, Carnet de Voyage”, Bastien Dubois has just won an award at Sundance Festival with his short new film, “Souvenir Souvenir”. This short film is a very personal reflection about the Algerian War’s legacy, and Bastien Dubois – the young French prodigy in animation with an international influence – innovates with a combination of several animation technics.
