For the eighth consecutive year, Paris is hosting the Grande Hall de la Villette, the French version of the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. Always in the same editorial line as the webzine at its origin, the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris highlights and reveals talents of international indie music.

This year the event will take place over three days among which are expected great names of indie music like Kaytranada, Mac DeMarco, Jeremy Undergroung or Etienne Daho, atypical and innovative artists in their field.

To satisfy more the passionate, the organizers foresee since three years the Pitchfork Avant-Garde. Over two days (30 and 31 October), through a touring route, 46 emerging French or international groups from all musical horizons, will dance the night owls in seven concert halls around Bastille. The Avant-Garde has seen Yellow Days or Alex Cameron pass the years before.

But the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris is not only good sound, it is also bringing French craftsmanship to the forefront. The Klin d’œil market will be set up in one of the mezzanines of the Grand Halle de la Vilette, where 40 jewelery designers, ready-to-wear, decorations,… will come to exhibit their works.
