This year, the six competing films’ themes deal with eclectic subjects from the British love story Only You by Harry Wootliff to Shola Amoo’s social movie about racism The Last Tree with also a historic movie directed by Marcus H. Rosenmüller The Keeper or Adrian Shergold’s thriller Cordelia.
Other social films are premiered in Dinard, such as the new Ken Loach movie We Missed You, and his eternal contestant’s Peterloo, Mike Leigh also being invited to the festival. The spy movie about Irak Official Secrets by Gavin Hood and with Keira Knightley and Little Joe which got Emily Beecham rewarded for her interpretation in Cannes will be premiered to. Shane Meadows’ tv-show The Virtues will also be screened (it was already rewarded at the Serie Mania festival).
A nice program for Hussam Hindi’s final festival, art director of the festival since the beginning. Let’s wait for the 29th of September to know the winners rewarded by Sandrine Bonnaire, jury’s president.
