At the César in 2020, she advocated courageously for a better representation of Black people in French cinema . Actress Aïssa Maïga, also a member of the collective Noire n’est pas mon métier, keeps on fighting with a new documentary, Regard Noir, co-directed with Isabelle Simeoni and currently available on Canal+. Through different travels and testimonies, the two women unveil the injustices behind the dream industry.
